Jjosland
Wrong section? Just had my clutch done and was fine for a couple of days and just went to get petrol and the gauge said it was half full but it was nearly empty the day before. So I fills her up and starts her up and then it goes to empty and the light comes on. Any ideas?

shawdreamer
Bad earth by the sounds of it, on fuel sender my moneys on the previous over the latter. when senders go they usually simply pack in all together (Ive seen them send full and empty signals permenantly regardless of whats in the tank when they die) a bad earth would be the more likely cause for what seems like an intermittent fault.
