It's a shame was a banging forum when I joined, 3 or 4 pages of new posts a day sometimes. Anyway how are you all. Sidrick and Shawdreamer still doing the rounds? Get a charger ;-) Yea it killed me but the finance and fuel cost to run the c1 a month came to the same as just the fuel in the fiesta. Pluss it's more reliable and cheap to tax as well. Got to grow up a bit. Got another 2 years of paying it then look g at getting a diesel bimmer. sidrick Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 I love the chargers but they're really, really big. They're a lot more expensive than the Mustang as well. We'll be doing a lot of miles and the missus just bought a new Fiesta so I might just end up with a 10 year old big engined BMW to pile the miles on for our road trips. Yeah, I think that's the reason a lot of folk leave this site. They grow up in many ways (whether it's career, relationship, house, etc), and one way is to stop flinging money at old Escorts. I'm not saying anyone who does this is wrong, but as folk get older this tends to be one thing they leave behind. KNITERIDER Posted January 21, 2015 Author Share Posted January 21, 2015 There's a reason why there called boy racers and not man racers lol Majority can't finance nodding cars and running a house etc. Obviously a lucky few can but I'd rather have holidays etcI do miss the scene when I was more into it we had some cracking laughs and made some good friends but people have to move on, it's a shame this place hasn't moved on with the times and stayed alive. Id love to move to the States.... its a life long dream of mine. But in May last year I bought my first house so im tied into that for now. Seems you have to go through 4 websites just to get a picture uploaded you know!? Plus i reckon the mark 5 6 escort is just not old or desirable enough yet!
