neil
What nuts or bolts do you have for your alloys? I have just the plain nuts which will look awful with alloys. My dad said his escort had bolts whereas mine has studs? Any ideas on price?
marcus
the normal nuts for steelies damage alloys, when i had my alloys, there were nuts which had a kinda washer which turned sa the nut was tightened, so it didn't scratch the alloy. if you want, i have a set plus locking wheel nuts if you wanna buy them??? simion_levi
www.trackstore.co.uk have the nuts you need (ford Ghia 12x1.5 open or closed ends - i've got a set of both, recommend them!) - don't think it's even safe to drive with steelie nuts on alloys, so buy em from marcus or elsewhere quick sharp!! Also note that the vice versa situation is no good either - so when you find you need to bung the spare steelie on after a puncture, you need a set of the old nuts with you. The alloy nuts won't hold em on properly, you'll end up doing damage with the wrong nut/wheel combination either way round!
Paulo
i was gonna get some chrome effect caps that go ober em mate but never got round to it. i think i can get them through work for about £17 the set and postage should be minimal. let me no if you are interested. ps the caps are identical to those found in locking wheel nut packs at halfrauds.
