Paulo
basically ive just had some stil autos fully refurbed and got tyres for them. however in order to get them to sit on the weel proper i got to get some "chanfered washers" which will allow the tapered stud to fit flush with the tapered washer, which will sit flush with the wheel. any ideaas who can do this. 900ss
Not sure what you mean but are you trying to put alloys on a car that doesn’t have them as std and still has the std wheel nuts?If so get yourself a set of alloy wheels nuts as fitted to the sierras, granadas, capris or even escort mk5/6’s. Any of them will do prov it they had alloy wheels as they will have the washers built into them.Sorry if I’ve totally misunderstood what you meant
Paulo
not sure 900ss, i think you may be on the right lines. basically its a tapered washer that sits between the allow and the nut... ive just had some 17s refurbed, and tyres fitted and balanced, and now the damn things wont fit without some poxy bits of metal!!! 900ss
Nuts like this is what you want, but with a tapered washer instead of it being flat.
simion_levi
Yup, you just want to buy alloy nuts tbh mate with the 60deg washers already attatched. You can just get the washers and use with old nuts, but they'll look crap and I certainly wouldn't trust them myself. www.trackstore.co.uk* have the washers separate if you really want them, but buy the complete ford nuts from Fraud directly, from ebay, a member on here - or else from trackstore or another online company. *Help, my first two posts on evo just happen to be promoting a company! Honest, I have no connection with them whatsoever! (except that I bought some closed end Ford nuts from em a couple of days ago, fed up with my open ended ones showing)
