Posted June 10, 200420 yr When my bodykit was fitted the body shop cut off the front towing eye in order to get the bumper to fit. When the exhaust was fitted, the rear towing eye was cut out. this has left my car with no towing eyes, if i were to ever break down (touch wood) would the towing company be able to get my car onto the truck some other way, attaching to the slam panel for example to winch it onto the truck or would a body shop be able to weld a new towing eye in some where? any ideas anyone??
June 10, 200420 yr dont worry i aint got a rear one and u cant get to the front, they can strap to the likes of the rear beam
June 10, 200420 yr aye they dont actually need a towing eye to tow, as ian sed, they can strap to the beams etc
June 10, 200420 yr If i get my rear removed i'm gonna get it welded back onto the rear beam just encase, makes it easier for them, and fron one is still behing the cover.
