Posted June 11, 200420 yr i need to take my spoiler off i must admit i haven't been outside and had a look yet!! but i was wondering if any of you lot knew how it comes off!!! or the easiest way to get it off and does it take long??
June 11, 200420 yr Unscrews from underneather the tail gate . Should leave some nice holes once its taken off to be filled .
June 11, 200420 yr I let the body shop take it off with the work i had done cause im lazy . Im sure it wont take long taking the plastic panel off and taking a long socket to it.

It hasn't been back in since! Don't know where the screws for it are now!
June 11, 200420 yr Author done it!! took about 20 minutes and was no where near as hard as i thought it was going to be!! found some right dirt under it and the spoiler is full of water!! cheers lads
June 11, 200420 yr found some right dirt under it and the spoiler is full of water!! While its off, clean the mounting points as best you can, one of the escorts weaker areas for rust protection... Â Water, both stndard spoliers I have have a small lake inside 'em...
June 11, 200420 yr Author have noticed a little patch where it looks like the paint is just bubbling!! going to sand it down and fill it!!
