Posted June 14, 200420 yr As some of you know I did a very un-lucrative car boot sale yesterday It wasn't all bad news and sunburn tho. In a blatant rip-off of Waxmonkey, I thought I'd post my first-ever mobile phone that we found in the loft: And this was one of the smallest you could get at the time Edit: Have any of you still got your old ones? June 14, 200420 yr Author that other one's not much better, you cant even get a signal on the thing. That's Jade's (my daughter) Nice little freebie from Avon. Only had to queue for 2 hours, twice, and then wait 6 weeks As to the signal, our kitchen is like a black hole with mobiles. Every other room it's full signal, but the kitchen must be lead-lined or sommat

June 14, 200420 yr me dad has still got that very Panasonic one knockin' about sumwhere, but that is small compared to the other 3 he had before, not to mention the Carphones that cost about £3,000 back in the day and never worked lol. When we used 2 live in Sedgley, Early 90's, which i can vaguely remember, out avenue was on a massive slope and it'd only work halfway up the street, not at the top or the bottom. Bizzarre!
