ok, firstly now i have bought alloys and im skint, something obviously had to break and my rear shockers are fecked and ford reckon my rear beam is bent so one of my wheels is rubbing on the rear arch and its cutting the tyre. should i:

a) wait 2months and buy coilovers and leave the rear beam for another month after that nd buy a beam with disk breaks on, meanwhile ill have to take off my alloys till i have bough everything

b) Buy a rear beam this month and them two months later buy the coilovers, again till everythings bought ill have to take the alloys off

c) buy a rear beam and some standard shockers at the end of this month

d) other.......but you must state it

yup, its gonna be a set of them in a month or two then

www.gsmotorsport.com for coliovers :D

but saying that there is a company on corsasport doing coilovers at 370 deliverd :D

You don't want to Fcuk that tyre, so my advice is to get some 40 grit paper and remove some of the arch lip! Will not take you long at all, B&Q will sell it, couple of quid max.

When you run out of money (like I have) you quickly learn there's loads you can do for Fcuk all!

EDIT: It doesn't seem like a rear beam is a straight forward 'buy the beam and swap' job, as sime explained. A great deal more than the £150ish to buy alone.

you need pipes n a handbreak cable, dead esay to do
gonna sound really thick but what are coilcovers?

reaaaaally good ajustable suspension that had even better ride than full spring/shox kit

Rear beam, Theres 8 bolts holding it to the chassis rails.........and two on the shockers.

To convert it to disk all i can see that needs alrering is brake pipes and a handbrake cable, im doing it to mine as of the end of the month :)

how much would it cost all in then ?(

what the problem is, is that one wheel is further out of the arch and the other side is in the arch more than the other hence why one wheel is scrubbing the arch, im thinking that it is just the beam but i went to ford today and they shown me the shockers are weeping and reccommended getting a geometry test done (Also got advice from our resident mechanic  ), has anybody else had this problem with the rear wheels, to me at first it just looked like the rear beam washt centralised but upon further inspection, it cannot be the case as the positioning of it is not adjustable
