Hey all.

I'm looking to do a rear brake disc conversion to my escort mk6 with no ABS :(

I want to know if a mk5 rs2000 rear axle would fit a mk6 or will i have to get a mk6 4x4 rs2000 axle?

If this is possible could i use rear koni shocks for a mk6 escort or will I have to get the rear shocks for a rs2000?

Cheers. ?(

The axel will go straight on mate as far as i know and all you need to change is the handbrake cable. Not sure about the shocks though.

hi, this is really a faily straight forward job.

change the whole beam for a none 4x4 item, change the pipes to rs2k ones and the handbrake cable, and thats it! you can keep the shocks you have on now or use koni, it doesnt matter as long as there mk6 shocks

hope that helps

and if your car is a mk6 u need a mk6 rs2000 handbrake cable

if its a mk5 then u need a mk5 rs one :thumb:
