plumber60
Last night i was coming past grimsby college in the bus lane and a T5 pulls next to me in the other lane, both going straight on down bargate, she hits the gas quite hard and snatched her left front as she wanted to beat me and get into the left lane. So i left it in second to thirty switched up to third and got to the lights at bargate where she put her blues on and parked at an angle across the front of me, got out (the driver ) and proceeded to my door and said dont be a stupid idiot and try and race a marked police car at the lights, i said woooo love you was the one who spun your wheels, im within the law as long as i dont exceed thirty, i dont spin my wheels and i have full control of my car. It doesnt make the slightest impact on any law how fast i get to thirty as long as i am in control, i grinned and she went stum, then decided i deserved a producer am i in the right???? FLiX
damn copsive seen plenty of police put there toe down in order to avoid waiting!worst is when they put the blue and twos on and rag it down the IDR and then down friar street (where i work) park up out side Mc Donalds or Subway and have lunch its a complete disregard for rules!thats why i dislike police! T9BY G
you should be in the right but I know of someone who has been done for exsessive acceleration without actually exceeding the limit

Scotteh
aye as long as u stay below 30 or below ur fine, how fast u get there makes no odds, i had a policeman come up to me cuz i accelerated up to 30 in first and then coasted....he sed i was racing and i asked "who was i racing?" he dint know, which aint surprising cuz i wasnt lol he then sed to be careful and let me go on me way. but as long as u dont break the law theres jack sh*t they can do
marcus
NO, you can still get done without exceeding the limit. my uncle got done for doing no more than 25 in a 40 limit for dangerour driving. the road was slippery and he wheel spun slightly and there were 2 coppers in the car and they done him for dangerous driving. they can do this if there are 2 of them in the car, also if there are 2 coppers in a car and they both believe you were speeding then they can do you for that as well Marcus

Just out of interest is this the case for all similar things, i.e. my bro undertook someone and then stopped further up the road for lunch, when he stopped 2 cops pulled up in an unmarked car and went balistic at him and said they would be passing all his details onto the local police for prosicution??? Just wondered cause they have no evidence apart from their word and maybe the guy he did it to???
Scotteh
if it was an unmarked car odds r there was no camera, they can pass on the details but odds r nowt wud come of it, cuz they can just file a report and say they saw ur bro undertake sum1, ur bro just has to ask for proof, they cant provide theres not much they can. the police these days can do a lot if they have the proof but if they dont there isnt much they can do. their hands r tied these days which in some cases r good and others bad. my dad was glad to get out and his best m8 cant wait to, same with a lot of them i know whove been in the job a number of yrs. friend of me dads retired a chief superintendant a cpl yrs ago....he cant be doing with it now. plumber60
if it was an unmarked car odds r there was no camera untrue, there are so many unmarked volvo t5 saloons and vectra 2.5 estates and saloons with cameras its unbelievable. The motorways are full of em up my way.
