Right, now normally I make no point of saying anything with regards things like this, but I couldn't help but notice that so far in your 37 posts (as of this moment) you are either someone who suffers from a terrible form of "Numerical Dyslexia" in which case ignore the rest of this message............... or plain and simple you do not have a bloody clue what you are talking about.

 

Now looking at your posts you knowledge of engines might seem impressive to your mates down the pub and your "research into various parts" etc which is plain and simple has been gained from reading enough copys of Fast Ford every month because whilst you use a technical term, you also use it as a generalisation and leave our important facts, but im sorry with such classics as.........

 

Well it is at least 7k to buy a rear damaged ST170 for a start... that's assuming you can find one. Good luck!

In regards the payment of a ST170 conversion on a mk5/6 Escort.........

 

Or you could go the Throttle Bodies route. Around 1.8k for 160bhp for 1.8 Zetec fitted and mapped.

Now what i'm trying to say here, without being offensive is with regards your replys please try and keep them a bit more realistic, or if you don't know, don't make something up, you are only making yourself look foolish because a great deal of us established site users do infact happen to know what we are talking about, well most of the time.
