JonC Posted June 22, 2004 Share Posted June 22, 2004 Norton/Mcafee use a lot of system resources roughly 20% even whilst not in action and just at idle Get AVG antivirus and it gets rid of viruses and uses very very little of your Ram unless scanning Adaware 6.1 scan weekly update beforehand Hijack this / Regedit for removing spyware and browser hijcackers ( i dont get many cos im carefull surfing and can reckognise them before installation Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
