RS2000---->RS Cosworth

Hi, I'm new here, and this is my first post,

and mainly it is the most important.

so, I have a Ford Escort RS2000 model 94, and I want to change the car in almost everything, I want to build an Cossie on the RS2000 Shell

so my qeustions are:

1) Is it possible?

2) If it is, what the changes need to be?

3) I'm more intrested in the YBT engine, with the bigger turbo, is it possible to fit this engine in the MKV/IV shell? again, what are the changes needed to be done?

4)a. Is it possible build an 4WD with the 3 diffrencialses on the FWD shell? the front diffrencial need to be changed?

4)b. Can I build the Cosworth with only Front Wheel Drive System, I mean the original system is need to be chaneged because of the engine position?

5) The MT75 gearbox need to be fitted here?

6)In generally, what are the parts, I need to o buy for this project? If it is possible, please, write E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G-!!!?

7)IF SOMEONE HAVE AN ICQ PLEASE add me to his contact list with the number 234893758

Thank U everyone for the help!

BTW, if someone mean to ask why Im not preafer to buy an original Cosworth , the reason is that in my country (Israel) the is not an original ESCORT COSWORTH.

again, thank you everyone! :thumb:

as dunk days it would be far more cost effective to import one, or import a origional shell.

I have seen one escort a few years ago with the cosworth engine in and still being fwd, i think they had to have the enine subframe made up, but i cant really remember much more than that :(

so companies here will convert your shell for around £3500 pounds, but you can buy a cosworth shell for that allready.

the only other way is to buy a ford sierra and put the escort body onto the floorpan of the sierra, which a fair few people have done with mk4 escorts :cheers:
