Greetings everyone. :D

Well, I finally have something resembling internet access which means my month-and-a-half Evo drought is finally over.

I still don't have home internet, having moved job and house. But rest assured, my ultra-fast super-broadband connection is approaching rapidly.

Not much news other than my moving, apart from my impending alloys. I bought Scottyboy's 17" Fox 6s months ago, and they are currently being refurbed in Worcester.

Oh yeah, and my engine's gone crap. It's been dumping oil all over the drive for a week or so, and this morning it resolutely refused to start. And the rocker cover gasket appears to be falling apart. Raagh.

Looks like a night under the bonnet tonight then.

So anyway, what've I missed?

Cheers guys.

Job is good, hours are horrible tho - midnight finishes followed by 6.45am starts on several occasions! 8o

I found out why the car wouldn't start - it's because I'm a complete moron.

I'd been looking at the engine the night before trying to find where the oil was spewing from, and guess who took off the HT leads for a better look and then didn't put them back again?

I feel a fool. X( :baby:

New gasket's going on tomorrow, so hopefully it'll be all ship-shape again.

Next step is taking it to the body shop for some respraying of rusty bits and colour coding. 8)

welcome back mate, glad to see the wheels finally getting sorted

and as for ur oil, try checking the oil pressure switch i had a leak the other week and i lost loads n loadsa oil it is directly in the back of head, and if u thread it out the wrong way it will knacker the head, the oil pressure switch is a mere £4.20 to buy but it was that that went on mine

hope that helps

Scott
