Not sure what to do here i have just bought a mk5 XR3i 105bhp K reg FDSH VGC and i think it's a nice car.

This is a pic of a car that is identical to the one i've just got with colour coded side skirt and lower bumper bit.

 

 

And here is my 1.8Si but would be sold with 15"TSW stealth's not the 17" kahns

 

 

My 17s would get swaped to the XR if i keep it and the power does not bother me as i'm doing a 2.0ltr engine conversion on which ever car i keep.

 

So what would you do? I really need your help here as i like both but i do like a two door shell more than a four door shell.

id go with the 5 door instead of the 3

keep the xr3i m8, i think the mk5's are better looking than the mk6's

keep the Si, will be much more original with a 2.0 engine in it, surprise a few, and is just a stunning car and nice colour

 

mk6 will be cooler as a sleeper... and the shell isn't as old so it won't be likely to rust as much yet... 3dr however is more stylish

Sorry, but if I had the choice, i'd go for the diamond white xr3i everytime, they are stunning, and perfect, hell'd even sell my mk5b for a diamond white mk5a everytime at the right price.

 

You should de-stripe it, fit clear side repeaters on the bumper, fit mk6 mirrors, and then clear rear lights, and colour code the door handles, and she would be minty as fap, and they are a perfect balance of look/preformance imo, lovely.
