i got a nice sound system, wouldnt be able to afford insurance on a new engine lol as much as i would like one lol.

was thinking window tinting £200

Skirts £300

Then an exhaust or something.

why would skirts be £300???

which ones are they ?(

Marcus

PS: Id say either engine or seats

Yeah exhaust, powerflow made to fit, fitted to your sound taste, set you back about £250... nice mod... Think u can sort skirts bit cheaper then £300 tho...

delta skirts £200 a set, then it would cost bout £100 to fit an spray wouldnt it?

2.0 zetec looks exactly the same a 1.6, why should the insurance need to know about it?

and if you did want to tell em a 2.0lx mondeo is insurance grp 9, thats the same as 1.6si.

oh rite lol. :D
dont worry about cometic or sound mods, just make sure its fast before you rice it up.
if cosmetic i'd go for the tinting first of all, um and a big spoiler :thumb:

not that it works that way  :P

i'd go for a set of new rims and springs :thumb:

Custom Exhaust from Powerflow?

Colour coding :D

Alarm?

Custom plates?

Side repeaters?

Rears?

Personally, I’d go with the alarm if you don't already have one. There are a lot of very good spec alarms out there and you don't necessarily have to spend THAT big. Battery back up, boot & hood sensors, anti-tilt sensors and a boot release :D - best mod you could get IMO. Then spend the rest on whatever else you fancy

Why does that not surprise me? :D

Yup, think about an alarm - you can have a very decent setup for less than £100 if you fit it yourself (that's assuming you buy battery backup siren, shock & microwave sensors, etc etc - much cheaper otherwise!)

With the £600 left, I'd go for skirts - say £200 fitted/sprayed - catback powerflow for £230, then the remainder towards seats or ICE or lowering - even could be sensible and keep it back for the next time something breaks ;(
