Posted August 7, 200420 yr Hey This sucks, was just about to send ANOTHER 1k to giles for the engine but havin some set backs now ! Basically after i got back from ford fair last week everythin has gone tits up - car didnt like the trip at all ! First one, i 'think' my water pump has gone,. Car is pissin out water everywhere and ive checked all the hoses and the rad but there is no leakin there. The leak is actually comin from the side next to the alternator and next to the engine surround on the left side - am i right in thinkin its the pump ? How long can i milk it before it does serous damage and how much would one cost roughly ? Next one, when i start drivin - the second i lift my foot of the clutch to change gear i get this chrunchin noise, it only happens in first, second and third but it also only happens for first 5 minutes of drivin, after that its fine !? Thank you in advance Harvez

Also they are one of the cheapest i have found 2nd problem sounds like your clutch needs adjusting as its only happening when its cold? right? if not then get a new clutch
August 7, 200420 yr the problem with the water pump is the fitting, its behind the cam belt, hence the cam belt needs to be taken off which makes it expensive Marcus
