got round to callin Tesco insurance and they've told her that because it is her first car, they'll knock off 30% !!!! WTF??

 

is this the same for all people on Tesco? or just girls? she's had her license for a year or so and she's got it Fully Comp for £950.

 

I've never paid less than £1200 and I've been driving for 5 years. Gutted.

no offence to the women on here but its cuz shes a female lol, thankfully the insurance system is being sorted out so we all pay the same for wot we want to insure, no more "im a woman im less likely to have an accident" bolox

 

best of it is, some women go on and on about equal rights...yet wen they wanna pay wot we pay for insurance all of a sudden they change their tone. figures can be made to show wot they want and if u drive around and sum1 cuts u up, crosses into ur lane etc most of the time its a women, even me old dear agrees and a lot of women i know.

 

im not being sexist but the insurance difference really gets on me nerves

has she done any advanced driving courses or owt?

she's done no additional courses, no tesco club points [lol] or anything.. it was the first place she rang and thats what they told her straight out

 

not gonna be parked in a garage. Just behind my parents house, or her apartment in Manchester.

really??? i payed 1268 lat year and im now paying 762 this year!!!

 

BTW im 18 with 1 year NCB and Pass+

blady cheap that is mate, mind you im paying 530 tpft which aint too bad

I am paying about £1400 but its my first year on my own insurance runs out in next 2 months should drop with a years no claims i hope

 

i dont mind paying the above amount coz its worth it to drive my car

dont expect it to come down too much dave, specially if youve delcared all mods, mine came down from 1800 to 1400, then the next year to 1200, that was with ringing round

aye if uve declared mods i dunno how much it will come down, my escort as standard went from 1550 to 997 with 1yrs no claims, shud go down to about 650-700 with next 1 as the drop is less.

My mk5 dropped by about £500 in insurance after 1 year, then got the mk6 and told em about the lexus's so it went back up £500 2 months till another year no claims though
