i am thinking of putting a 2.0l throttle body on, but have now been told i would be better off going for a 1.8l!! as i know nothing about them i wanted some advice on which would be better and what difference it would make?

get it remapped as well if u put a 1.8 or 2.0 on imo

 

or easy get a 2.0 ltr engine in

1.8 wud be totally pointless IMO, even 2.0 wouldn't make that much of a difference, but if ur going for any that's defo the one to go for

 

me mate put a 2.0 throttle body on his RS 1800 with a cone filter and a stainless system when he had i rolling roaded it was running lean at 122 bhp the r/r company suggested a power boost valve which they fitted then re roaded it and it was running spot on fuelling at 131 bhp so i would suggest if your gonna do it then get it set up properly

got it booked in to be done on the rr cos it's been chipped and has a power boost valve on it so needs doing anyway, was gonna get a body done before it goes in!!

get the 2.0 fitted by the r/r people then get them to set it all up saaaaaweet
