ProjectBlackShadow
Hi, Thinking about creating my own internet business, selling DVD's, Audio CD's and maybe some other software, etc etc. if i was buying these dvds from another website (which says the dvds are orignals) and sell them on my website would i be held responsible if they were copys? or would the website i purchased them off be responsible for it as they do not state that they are copys. frew
how about you buy one for yourself and find out? if the quality is ok, the label is on the actual disc ok, and the box looks ok, chances are its real. but you'd make more money selling copies
Stu
You would be responsible, however grassing up your supplier may help your case. Probably not.
ProjectBlackShadow
very true, they come with special features, all english writing on covers, multi region so can be sold worldwide. picture printed on disc, and i get and invoice from my supplier. so surely they would get the blame? if you bought something from currys, sold it to your mate but still has the original receipt from currys and found out it was nicked, im sure currys would ge tthe blame right? or wrong? lol. confusing. Stu
Yeah, but your customers arent buying it from a mate. They're buying it from you, an online business. You would be the first point of call for any issues. And, if your supplier is outside of the UK and EC, then you would be really fecked as they would put the whole blame on you.
