What else do i need???

If I was to buy a new 2.0 engine which would include the block and crank, rods and pistons, oil and water pump, the head, cams, cambelt and all the covers, what other bits would i need to make the full conversion. Like Manifold, what would i use, where would i get one from, how much etc?

 

Would like a rough idea of how much i'd need to spend after buying that engine in order to make the conversion complete

im having a custom manifold made for mine.

 

when i was going to put a 2lt in my fez u had to use everything from the standard lump n just swap the block over so im guesing it wud prob b the same on the escort. u cud prob get away with the top part of the manifold from the 2lt then use ur normal down pipe

Depends on the day, the planet, if the moons are aligned and if its raining.. Could be anything from £50 to 200 depending on the scrappy and mood..

 

and is there anything to watch out for in particular with any of these parts being second hand, anything to look out for on high milers or anything with these bits and pieces?
