zetec head question

im building a 2.0l zetec mk4 escort here: http://www.16vzetec.com/

i have a 2.0l block and want ro run 1.8 ported and polished head.

this will be ok wont it?

just worried a little incase it increases the compresion ratio too much.

also i'd just use a 2.0 head gasket yeah?

I'm pretty sure the 1.8 and 2.0 have the same compression ratio. It's the 1.6 which runs higher.


Do some searching on the internet, should find a page of zetec tech stuff :thumb:

the problem is will they still have the same compression once the 1.8 head has 2.0 pistions under it?
