Exhaust problem

Hi Guys.

I recently fitted a piper back box to my escort and that's fine. However it turns out that the middle box has a hole in it and is blowing slightly.

I thought i Could just pick up the piper middle as well but it turns out the back box I bought was designed for a ford middle so the bores won't fit if I get the piper middle. I don't want to just put a new ford middle on...

So what are my options??

Cheers guys

Get to powerflow and they'll make up a centre section for you car.

It'll be made of stainless and outlast the car. Are you majorly concerned about getting a decent bore exhaust pipe? There's obviously no point in having a large bore centre section, then it getting smaller before the back box.

You looking for an increase in noise? Well standard bore but silencer-less centre section will give you that. Piper rear boxes are meant to be fairly loud I think. :)

If you don't want noise, keep a silencer in there. :thumb:

Just my thoughts this evening
