sorted_scort Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 bugger, how much is it going to cost me to get a 2l mondy engine and the transplant done and set up? i think i might be able to get hold of the engine but i would need someone to fit it and set it up properly, i will be using my 1.6 g'box tho
Madmax Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 If you check sumwheer on this site someone has posted the parts needed for the conversion. I am doin the same conversion nxt year, can get the engine for 150quid with only 7500 miles on the clock. Only gona cost me that cause my m8 is gona do the job for me for nuffin!!! Correct me if im wrong but i think it would be close to 1500pound maybe more for the conversion. Not sure tho!!

sorted_scort Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 so would the engine deffinatly need to be reconned, or could i go to a scrappy, hear the engine running, take it out along with the ecu and other bits and bolt them all in2 the scort?
