Orion Si
Astra mate, that shouldnt stop ya just cos its a 5 door This is summat like i would prob go for, as this will maximise the boot space cos imo youll need it all. a subs would be facing the back, 2 facing the seat, the box would be split into 4 sections inside it with the amps n stuff on the top yeah but it would look stupid cos the rear doors would be useless. cossie rep
yeah but people would go to use the rear doors or sumthin and fin they dont open, or watever. so it will look Shite outside and it wont be practical have the doors welded shut and smoove them into the rest of the body work and de-handle the door. it then will look like a 2 door mate
sortedford
i wouldnt bother bout it, i was gonna remove my rear seats but theres normally 3 of us in my car, so there stayin
Colin
Besides, if you bought a 5 door, you bought it for a reason, so theres no point, you might as well just de-handle the car if you wanna make it a 3 door, or better still................. GET A 3 DOOR! Not always ideal, but still...............

Cappy
just one small question.. why in the world would you want 4 15"? That is just a stupid amount of weight to pull around, plus the amount of power needed to make em move would be crazy.. I take it you like big bass.. All you want are 2 12 or 15" subs (I recommend the JLW3V2 series) in a ported box that goes along the back of the seats (I believe Gav has this setup) and between 500 and 1000wrms to power the lot. Use a Class D mono block like the Vibe VP4 (cheap for the power).. should be able to manage 140db+ with that! Amit
JonC
If i was you id get two 12" Subs in some Sexy AutoAcoustics Boxes AutoAcoustics Get an Offside and a Nearside Box fit a JL Audio 12" in each and power it all with a Genesis Power amp... The Amp could be mounted Sweetly with a nice MDF base in the centre of the two Substhe speakers would as act as extra cooling that way Remember to use good quality cablingand Dynamat is available from *cough* Halfords *cough* I dont go there...
