Astra mate, that shouldnt stop ya just cos its a 5 door

getpic.asp?File=2002101125118308880.jpg

This is summat like i would prob go for, as this will maximise the boot space cos imo youll need it all. a subs would be facing the back, 2 facing the seat, the box would be split into 4 sections inside it with the amps n stuff on the top

yeah but it would look stupid cos the rear doors would be useless.

just one small question..

why in the world would you want 4 15"? That is just a stupid amount of weight to pull around, plus the amount of power needed to make em move would be crazy..

I take it you like big bass..

All you want are 2 12 or 15" subs (I recommend the JLW3V2 series) in a ported box that goes along the back of the seats (I believe Gav has this setup) and between 500 and 1000wrms to power the lot.

Use a Class D mono block like the Vibe VP4 (cheap for the power).. should be able to manage 140db+ with that!

If i was you id get two 12" Subs in some Sexy AutoAcoustics Boxes

AutoAcoustics

Get an Offside and a Nearside Box fit a JL Audio 12" in each and power it all with a Genesis Power amp...

The Amp could be mounted Sweetly with a nice MDF base in the centre of the two Subs

the speakers would as act as extra cooling that way

Remember to use good quality cabling

and Dynamat is available from *cough* Halfords *cough* I dont go there...
