Menter Posted October 5, 2002 Share Posted October 5, 2002 got my renewel quote from adrian flux its the same as last year £713 , phoned a company called HIC insurance (redline recommended) and they came up with £521 all mods covered and replaced like for like if anything happens and all so no claims protected in that price aswell! he said as long as i dont touch the engine i can do what i like and the price will not change, result! also said if its a write off ill get the value of the car and a value for all the mods that ive done, cant be bad! phoned flux back and told them and they droped it from £713 to £519 just like that, when i asked how come he could do that, he just said ive knocked it down to beat the other quote!! wot the fcuk, why charge me that much in the first place if he can do it for that price!!!!!!!!!!! but that didnt include protecting my no claims, so i went with HIC, as i feel flux were taking the Pee abit charging me that then dropping it £200 just like that! rant over!
