LOL, i don't think even lee knows what he's doing to his cars one week to the next, maybe he should keep things quiet a bit more, then we wouldn't get our fookin hopes up all the time

a turboed estate would be better than a cossie, hands down. :(

8o really?

Technically, no

but IMO yes

just do both, u can if u want! :baby:

you reckon? you wanna see my bank balance ;(

Doug, after chatting to several people it was decided that the turbo conversion really is throwing money away :( specially If I want an Esc Cos at any point...

the desision will be made tomorrow really, as thats when i'll be trying to sort out the loan, if not, i'll try my hardest to get Rallyslags I4 on throttle bodies in it for this show season :)

hell yeah, it would be better!

not necessarily faster.. but how cool?????? :O :O 8)

i think tbh a cossie is just the easy and lazy option :P

that estate running 350bhp would blatantly be famous within weeks of completion, probably get a performance ford feature, and would also give young mr richardson so much fun! :D

When those two cossies came screaming by ready for a play yesterday, how good would it have been to put your foot down, in an unsuspecting estate and kept up with them.... go on lee, you know you want to.. or at least whoever you sell it to should do the same :thumb:

EDIT: also, why is it throwing money away?!?! It's all a bit of fun isn't it surely? When has any modification not been throwing money away, in fact when has any fun you've had ever made you a profit?!?!?! ?(

when them 2 Cossie's would have come past, i'd have put my foot down, wheel span, got immense torque steer, broke the gearbox, got to the next roundabout, mine would have just understeered like a slag, their 4x4 would have pulled em round...........and them 2 would have been off in the distance.

Giles freely admits I "wouldnt have a 1st or 2nd gear" cos of wheelspin. How much fun is that round town? ?( The saff used to SEVERLY pi$$ me right off in anything other than bone dry weather, Ross would just leave me for dead ?(

I know how much Harvez has spent on a 'proper' conversion......its MINT Saff 4x4 saff Cos money :O

Of course i'd never turn down a feature in FF or PF (I have one lined up if I drop the I4 in anyway ;) ), but I have no desire to be famous etc.... :)

well, i'd stay and argue but i'm sure you've got a sensible argument against anything i can say, anyways, i'm off to tesco now.

I think you're being stupid is all.

i know you have no desire to be famous, that's not really even a part of my argument, just stating a fact. I love cossies, even more after yesterday, but would it not be cool to have a properly unique car?

try listing the advantages you can think of as quickly as you did the disadvantages... :)
