clutch biting point...

basically, my clutch biting point is right at the top of the pedal, if i even gently rest my foot on it, the bloody thing slips! also when i change gear whn im flat out, and release the cluch quickly, its still trying to keep up when im in the next gear, is there any way of adjusting the cable? im worried that the cable has streched and the pedal gets to the end of its travel before the cluch is completely engaged if u get me? sory if i confused anyone lol. I maybe wrong after reading some of the replies- but I had that exact same problem mate- and two weeks later the clutch went- had to get a new one, and now the bitting point is at the bottom- hardly have to move the pedal. :thumb:

I was also told that ye it can be adjusted but it's a short term thing- the clutch will eventually go. :(
