Cabrio Zo Posted October 18, 2002 Share Posted October 18, 2002 A friend of mine is selling his Escort Cosworth after a nasty attempted car jacking – at a local cruise of all places. Was getting a bit out of hand with fireworks etc (which in itself is bad press for cruising) so the car was moved around the corner, where he was approached about a fag (doesn’t smoke) then the keys were grabbed and shouted at to get out of the car – thankfully the thief was stopped before could make off with the keys. The car is now up for sale as doesn’t want it anymore and wont be attending cruises any more. Whats the scene coming to. If you carry items to 'defend' yourself you can get done for carrying an offensive weapon, and for the likes of females you could get overpowered and it used against you instead... :-/ Scary.
