Nice design Heero Yuy, like how you split the second LED over the two lenses like that. I did something vaguely similar a while ago:

I contacted Quad Conversions to ask them if they'd do an LED kit for the Escort, they said they would, and would get in contact with me when they're ready, but despite tons of chaseup calls they have yet to do anything! :vangry:

Maybe they'll pull their finger out one day but it's doubtful...

about those lights.

I am talking with some bloke who might be able to make some if there is enough of a demand. The thing is the company is in Belguim. So to get them i will need numbers of how many people would have a set so then we will be able to get them cheaper. But if there isnt enogh then i am afraidi will be unable to get them.

But these are for the Mk6 rear style only

please pm if you are interested.

Just had a email reply back from the company in belguim who i was speaking to about the lights.

He said at the moment they do have alot of projects going on at the moment involving the quad conversion lights.

But as we must appreciate it takes time to get the lights to legal standards and then there is the process of prototypes and various designs.

But he did also say there is something already in the early stages of the pipeline for the mk6 and release date is due for summer 2003 time.

That good news regarding the quads, ah well, I can wait for a while before I go out and seriously consider investing in a set, besies if they do come out in the summer then i will be working stupid amounts of overtime and getting loads a bling bling, just like everyone else!

:thumb:

Lets hope they don't look anything like the exsisting ones, yuck, not a fan at all, but i must admit, they do look good on mentors car, but still..........

costs 15£ for a can and about half an hour to do

better than tights !!

was thinking of converting the standard lights to LED

just a case of a bit of clever electronics and glue
