lately my alarm has been doing some weird shite.... the siren is in a world of its own... its been going off when it feels like it, so i had it replaced last friday and it did it again on the sunday... it just goes off but its not actually the alarm going off just the siren going mad and it stops chiping when ya arm/disarm it.... and the indicators dont flash.... but if ya bugger about with it a bit it shuts up anyone else had this problem?
never had that problem mate? is it securely plugged into the alarm? i presume it must be if they replaced it?

how long have you had it??,

was speaking to a mate who works at a local car care shop, and hes says that cliffords need re-programming every year?,

so could be that, tho probs not,

ive had it nearly a year now! bought it off sortedford, i spoke to the guy who fitted it today and hes going to ring clifford in the morning and see what they think i want to buy a new one but he reckons i shouldnt have to as its a really good alarm....

what bout the wiring cafing through

just a possiblity

yeah possible... the siren has been sent to clifford as they are a bit puzzled themselves.... and when it returns it should be good as new and the guy is moving it from where it was located last time...(under the scuttle panel)

its deffo somin to do with water though.....

Funnily enough mine started doin it after about a year. My alarm would go off for no reason and then when i dis-armed it it would just go straight back off again. I spoke to a guy at gap security and he said that the alarm had to be serviced every year or your warranty was void. Nice of them not to tell me when i brought it.

You could try all the door sensors, take them out and make sure they are connected properly, then give them the wd40 treatment.

yeh that who i had one off steve, bunch of tossers.

big ry thats your problem then mate, i presume its under the scuttle pannel pointing striagth up? they shouldnt be posistioned like that because of water getting in, if you have to put it there have it at a 90' angle :)
