ok peeps,

my bonnets got quite alot of stone chips on it,

it needs touching up, the problem is that some of the chips are fairly deep and have started to rust, its only surface,

iv been quoted £150-£250 for a full bonnet treatment and respray,

which im really tempted to do as cosmetic painting really isnt my strong point,

so im considering,

whats a decent price, and is there anything else i could do?

£150 is a very good price mate, would definately have it done for that sort of money!

I thought it was a bit dear . I paid £60 to have my old mans done on the lsy when I damaged it whilst he was on holiday

£150 is okay.

d'ya think its worth it tho?,

i got some decent touch up paint done by chipsaway, so could touch up the smaller dints, just to ones with a lil rust,

just feels like alot of cash for tiny specs on a bonnet,

tho it p%$ses me off everytime i see em when i wash the car

way too dear IMO, should be able to get a pukka job done for half that if u shop around

i can get a full repsray for £300, thats mega for a bonnet

less then £150,??,

how many coats would they be putting on, and would it be chemically cleaned down and treated,

just seems abit too cheap

if u wanna driveot manhester, i can get a bonnett done for 40-50ish an that is CLASS quality which you will NOT beat, i got my skirts an mirrors done an it was amazing quality

i'm getting the whole of my car done in 2 colours for £550!!! including bbb + smooth arse, new door + wing!

i went to my local ford dealership today and they said they'd do it for £150, and blend it into the wings,

that includes taking it off, cleaning it all down, filling, and spraying up,

so i thought that was pritty good,

i'm getting the whole of my car done in 2 colours for £550!!! including bbb + smooth arse, new door + wing!
