Cappy
keep a look out second hand.. Yellow tops are fine for a good few years.. I just sold 2 for £100 each. As for power caps, I would sort the battery out first then add the cap. A cap is like a buffer of electric energy.. when your system needs a quick birst (bass hit) it will supply the power much quicker than the battery.. result, faster tighter bass. Maplins sell one for less than £100. Amit
sime73
yeah but do i need a yellow top with just 2 amps ???
Cappy
I would say no. Just upgrade your standard battery to something a bit meatier. If you can, get a bigger alt. from the scrappy. Amit

Cappy
Yeah a 2nd battery is a good idea. I have added a varta 70Ah beast in the boot of my cosins car. Does the job nicely. Amit

Cappy
The varta battery I added was £57. It is a 71Ah Varta Blue Dynamic. It has more power than a yellow top but isnt deep cycle. But the RRP of a yellow top is £250! Amit
