kinda lost control last night at about 6pm, some kid darted out into my path and i was left with no choice but to anchor up and swerve into oncoming traffic

 

next thing i know im being put on a spineboard and being driven to hopsital

 

the civic ive been told is a write off

 

got released from hopsital with head injuries and whiplash and a headache

 

im gutted about my car, but i didnt kill the kid so at least ive got one thing to be glad about

 

shite MATE!!!

 

what did the kid do? just run off??

little kid ran off from what ive been told, nowhere to be seen- he wasnt under any cars or squished which is the best thing

 

ive gotta phone up report my claim to the insurance company, find out where my car got taken away too and get my stuff from inside it

 

my girlfriend was nowhere to be seen last night, she heard about the acident and promptly went round her friends house

 

when i phoned her up i got an earfull about how it was inevitable with the speeds that i drive etc

 

spent the night lying on the floor with my neck dead straight wishing i was still in hopsital on pain killers

 

now just gotta pick up the pieces and hope i dont get into trouble.

 

if im fully comp with protected no claims i should be ok insurance wise

they offer a courtesy car for 14 days which i might take up i was wondering if they make me pay for it, if the claim goes against me

think it would be classified as a loss of control. i think?

at least at the end of the day YOU and ok and ure still in one piece.

 

Cars only a piece of metal at the end of the day. it can be replaced.

same thing almost happened to me yesterday

was doing 30mph in a 30 limit and this kid fcuking shot out from behind a fcuking parked lorry

i was soooooo close to hitting the little Fcuker slammed on my brakes and missed him by about half a foot

 

hope everything goes ok! were there any witnesses to say you swerved to avoid a kid???
