Posted May 2, 200519 yr Right last few months i have kinda been thinking about what i am gonna do either do more to me car engine etc or trying to sort a house out for me and shelly? Come to the conclusion that that i need to sort a house really as atm the more i do to the car the more chance of it getting nicked as i dont have secure parking so looks now like i am gonna be saving all my money for a deposit therefore a morgage wont sting me as much. Also when i get the morgage i was gonna get if for more than i need if possible dunno if that works then i can spend the rest on a new engine for the car and can store it in my nice shiney new garage So peeps please please please restrain from putting anything in the for sale section that i might want

May 2, 200519 yr cant believe how people can afford to get on the ladder. I must be doing something wrong How long did it take to save ya deposit etc Kev? Cos I cant seem to save Shite <{POST_SNAPBACK}> i'm guessing the change from selling the cossie and buying the beemer will become the deposit i've got my deposit sorted, was my 21st birthday pressie off me folks so i'll be looking next year
May 2, 200519 yr i'm guessing the change from selling the cossie and buying the beemer will become the deposit <{POST_SNAPBACK}> must have saved the 17k in the first place though dont mean this in any funny way dave, but 90-100k gonna be £550 a month aint it? How will you afford that, run the car, bill etc on couriers money with Shell not working? as I say, dont mean it funny, just trying to work out if i'm doing summat wrong
May 2, 200519 yr If we hadn't got on the ladder 3 or 4 years ago we woulda been strugglin now, just sold for 22774 more than we paid for it that short time ago
May 2, 200519 yr Congrats on ya decision Dave, would be madness to chose a car over family Lee - I'm not being funny either, but I think you mentionned the figure of 250 (???) as your monthly outgoings on loans / debt alone. That's more like 375 after PAYE and NI! Just a thought, not a dig
May 2, 200519 yr Heres a handy wee calculator to show roughly what monthly payments would be, what size of deposit would be required etc. clickety click
