Posted May 2, 200519 yr Maxi Arches will be ordered in the next 2/3 weeks yes, I'm absolutely shitting bricks for doing this, but I can't fcukin' wait! just thinking/planning sideskirt mods to pull it off to the max. Got rough ideas in my head, but nowt concrete yet. Protruding a little is a deffo, think that will be the key to taking the arches away from their "rally slag" roots and bring them into the Touring-Car-Ish, street-racer look that I am aiming for Thoughts? Anyone know of any other Erebuni-winged, Maxi-arched MK6 Escorts on 19's???
May 2, 200519 yr Author what wheels will you go for? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 19" Arospeed RS-GT in Hyperblack really don't wanna change cos I love 'em so much, always have and don't think anything else would suit the style of the car anywhere near as well to my taste. I have been offered other nice looking 19s a bit cheaper and have even been offered a swap on a nice set of 19s for my 18s, but nah, love 'em too much to change, just want the extra inch

Time for the classic "piece of string" saying methinks, lol Was definitely gonna be ready for Ford Fair, just for the 2 "big" shows, but now not so sure as once these are on, it's gonna be straight in with the full new-colour respray. Fitting the arches is childsplay relatively speaking, it's just making alterations to the skirts and slight alterations to the rest of the kit to pull off "the look" that's gonna take the time and probably the money too Drove the car for the 1st time in ages today tho, damn it feels and smells so good!!

May 2, 200519 yr Author well I thought while it was away, it'd be rude not to make some major changes as always, this is a big money car, none of my plans for it now could ever be considered "cheap" The '3i is a something a bit different, it is quite amusing searching E-Bay and the pages of passionford for the little bargains for that the longer it's gone, the better it will be when it's back, but it won't be too long, getting itchy feet just at the thought of this now, lol There will be a few interior changes too

Personally, I think it'll look wicked
