Posted May 3, 200519 yr Any tips on washing a car? This may sound stupid but i have no idea how to do it properly and how to wax the car to a professional finish. Im getting pretty good on the interior, but its just the bodywork that i need help with. This may sound stupid but is there a guide with step by step anywhere on the net? lol i sounds like a right fool asking this but oh well!!!

May 3, 200519 yr Author Do most people use a good old fashioned bucket and sponge?? Or do people use like these kits you can get for your hosepipe?? I usually: Soak the entire car in waterConnect my brush attachment and fill with turtle wash car wash stuffBrush down the carRinse with hosepipe and "clean" water Is that like totally the idiots way to do it lol? I tried using a leather chamois to dry but they dont do sh*t!! Also do you have to be quick when drying the car?
