me and my partner went for a dating scan at the local hospital, supposed to be around 12wks pregnant, but after the women did the scan my missus had a feeling anyway, she said i can't find a heartbeat!. well that did it, had a second opnion, same answer......my missus was in tears i was utterly gutted. we were told the feutus had died around 8wks. 4wks ago!!!

it didn't dawn on me till i left the hospital and drove home, tears flooded down my face, all day tues we were crying. we had lots of comfort from family and others but nothing seems to bring back wot we have lost.....my missus is sleeping now thinking she is going to wake up and it's all a dream.....still hasn't sunk in yet for me either

Am so so sorry to hear of your loss

 

I had a miscarriage and at 10weeks had a scan and had lost my baby at 7weeks...this was before George! I was in hospital and knew what was happening as i was bleeding etc

 

It took me a while and I still think of it now - however you have to look at it as though it wasn;t meant to be. The baby could've been very ill or sick if it were born. I know this won't feel like it helps but that is what got me through it .

 

My friend also went through miscarriage before getting pregnant again andshe gave me alink to a website with all stories..you dont realise what a common thing it is. I will try and find the link for you.

It will be hard but make sure you speak to eachother n let her know how you are feeling too....she needs you..even if only for a cuddle at the most inconvenient time, make sure you are there .

i would say sorry to here that but i'm just sorry ur both upset, i believe things like that happen for a reason and as bexy said it may have been a very ill baby or have something seriously wrong with it, meaning it's fairer for it at the end of the day. Best of luck for the future though.l
