Was driving back from the Lake District today to Liverpool, know the way and all that, sorted! NOT SO!

Somehow I managed to get on the wrong side of the M62 (a journey I do about 2wice a week!), and didn't even realise til I saw signs for Manchester city centre

Has anyone else ever done this?

Ive lost journeys before, arrive at destiantion not remembering how i got there

Ended up in Wales, didn't even realise i was going there until i got to the toll bridge. I wanted to be in London .

I was taking some mates home once but instead of taking them to their houses I went home. They said "What are we doing here?" I had completey gone blank and not realised they were there somehow

I read it exactly the same. I've gone to drive to swansea before and got on the M4 and only realised when I saw signs for Heathrow, I do the journey every week! oops, glad I aint far from Heathrow to start with.

lots of times.... i go all around the country for my job, east and west gets me north and south im fine

i was drivin dawn the m 42 after doin a 28 haur shirt and went three junctions to far

the best bit is i was following my mate in a 7 1/2 tonner and has he left the moterway i drove strate by him

pmsl, comin back from your house when i saw wassher-face (Clare - i remember now ). just drove up the M61 then M6 an thought ang on when i saw signs for the M6 toll road, i was quite happy ploddin along at 100 lol an just thinkin about stuff

 

was a 150ish mile trip that night lmao instead of the normal 60

ive tried to goto reading before and wound up near basingstoke took a wrong turn somewhere along a toepath i think

that was a fun ride back NOT!

once years back i had a g/f in Stoke n i was coming back from hers late one Sunday night and had to be up for work at 4am the next day and was well tired already from travelling all weekend n on the A50 where it meets the M1 i ended up going north instead of south cos by the time i realised i was in the wrong slip road it was too late

travelling from newcastle to kent, i missed the turn off from m11 to m25 and ended up in romford MIIIIIIIIIIIIILES away from the turn off, that was the first place i could get off and turn around and go ALLLL the way back lol
