Does anyone know what effects your credit rating? ?(

I went to get a pay monthly sim card (just the sim from O2) and they hadnt sent it. I rang to ask "why?" and they said my credit check had been declined or summat. Thing is I still have (even though the ex uses it) a contract with O2 -in my name registered at the old address. I didnt have any probs when obtaining that. It is paid up to date by DD constantly.

I have no debt (I did have a joint loan - but no longer do) I am not in arrears and never have been. The only thing that has changed since moving is that I have a £500 overdraft (which I am not in)

I am trying to get a report from Equifax but the site isnt working properly.

Could this all be down to my new address at a rented property? ?( :tired: ;(

It could be where you live, previous tenants, i had same problem moved in rented accomadation and the previous tenants had left lots of debt. Had lots of trouble getting anything not fair but there are lots of people that dont give a *hit what they leave behind :thumb:

are you on the electoral roll at the new address???

Yes I am on the electoral roll :)

Will try to get hold of the details from Equifax....It best not be the address cos that will really fcuk me off! :curse: If it is, atleast I only have 4 more months rent left :)

I really cannot think of any reason why I was declined. It were a £25month deal (that you arent even signed into) not a bloody £20k loan X( :censored:
