Half tinted Rear lights

clear side repeaters

dual fog light conversion at rear (both work, no dummy)

there probably plenty i've missed: bad points:

quite a lot of faded paint on passenger fron wing / door handles

boot hasn't mellowed to colour of rest of car, although the bumpers did within a month or two, spoiler fillering needs some more sanding and another paint, rear arches have slightest bubbles (only surface Rust) one fog light has water vapour in it (they were brand new :vangry: when i fitted the body kit) still works fine

few minor dints not noticable ones, it is 10 years old to be fair, strut brace needs painting

good points, very nice to drive now that the suspension has been done, has done 88,000 (6000 in the last 5 months) has had lots of oil changes using magnatex and decent filters, all serviceable parts have been replaced, will have cam belt kit and water pump done soon, will have 12 months road tax attached soon £170 ;( will be mot'd before potential sale (will go through no probs after all thats been done)

its the last of the line mk 5B 1994. it wants a 2.0 zetec or an RST and some big brakes to make it a serious contender for best mk 5B five door

basically the car is in a good all round state, and needs re-finishing in a body shop to make it a show car, and really could do with a bigger engine and brakes to make a serious peice of kit, i have no idea how much i've spent on it, don't have any service history (bought without it) but as i say everything serviceable has been replaced (cept belt / pump which is soon) car could do with

a new lower wishbone so i've bought a pair to replace as the drivers side ball joint seal has gone and clunks when moving away / going over large bumps, these may well be fitted soon anyway, its group 10 or 12 insurance, and i insured it for 850 a year with no ncb and 3 months driving experience @ 18 years old (this is obviously without the mods declared) which brings me to reason for sale, i couldn't bear to see it smashed up and me having difficulties paying for it loosing my insurance etc so i think it'll have to go, i deally i'd like an XR2i or something similar (preferably ford) i'm interested in how much everyone really thinks a) its worth b) what i would get for it :thumb:

i could sell the kit, wheels, sus and zorst for that as there total new value would be twice that so i'm sure its worth more than 1k

1k sounds EXTREMELY generous to me, can get so many Mk6's now for less than 1k and GTi's start at around 1500/1600 quid

nothing on the car at the mo is more than four five months old most of it less and the only secondhand things i've bought are things that don't wearout like strut braces :(

Ross if it was standard or just sat on some alloys and a zorst fair enough, but its not?? :(

Always a difficult question when trying to sell a modded car.As for rust on the rear arches, escorts tend to rust from the inside out on the arches, a good tip is to waxoyl the arches from inside the boot until it drips out the bottom of the sill.

Try Ebay for a bit of advertising leaving your mob number for contact?

if it was standard it'd be £500 mate :(

The fact your cars got a lego brick kit on it makes it less desirable becuase your cutting done the market range your car is in.

Your get more in parts, and im not being sarcastic

i would say around 800 quid, :thumb: at the end of the day its a a mk5b, so not the newest escort, and you can pick up modified mk6's for around 1k, so i would say yours is less at around 700-800 quid mark :thumb:
