Posted May 17, 200519 yr ok, i know few people will know anything about these, but here goes,i got my ford remote locking sensor today, very nice, replaces the standard light,the only problem is the one that iv been given is light grey, and the rest of the car is dark grey (ie sun visors, lecky sunroof trim, and roof lining material),the lights are slightly brighter (6w over standard map lights 5w) for some reason,connected it to my roof loom, and borrowed my dads key from his st170, (3 button key) and tried to program it, nothing happened,so is it the wrong kind of key, or do i need another part,also on the statement i got from ford it says electric parts none refundable once opened, can i still return it?, not like its really been used, and anyone know if there is a darker grey version????.cheers, and please help me as i need to know what to do with the sensor as it £40 that potentialy wasted
