rite i might be gettin sum bucket seats recliner ones so far got a good deal but no subframes does anybody know where i can get sum to fit ma mk 5 ford escort the seats are Urban X n been told they are (this is their first generation seats)

so does anybody know wat subframes will do n where cheers

Why don't you get your haynes max power guide out and have a look? They use the original subframes off the ford seats

 

EDIT: make sure you do it right though, it's quite important that the seats don't move when you're driving

universal sub may fit.....or buy a pair to fit your car and make the seats fit......did it to my corbeau seat...uni frame!

ok thanx will have a look at the uni frames i just thought id ask as the guy said they just come out or sumat so thought id ask tried the si seats b4 n they wouldnt fit but want sum better seats

Do not buy universal frames.

 

They will cause more ballache than a vice!
