Ok 1am this morning i get in from a night out go online and my mate who i work with says hey mate could you do me a favour and start at 10 (thats 9 hours ealier then i was ment to!)

i was like errrrrr NO!

well it turns out that the head chef (im a chef btw) drank D1 a cleaning chemical by mistake (stupid T*at) so that ment he would have been working all day on his own not so good in a resturant getting on average 200 orders before lunch!

so in at 10 i go after eventually hittin ghte sac at 3am wake up hung over great fun get to work piles of work to be done no prep done at all thought bahh drink fag then ill go work so a drink a fag and 30 mins later i start work oh what this no one told me our dishwasher Fcuking blew up on saturday afternoon great so all dishes to be done by hand Fcuking wonderfull

so i batter the Shite out of it for a bit then crack on with the dishes, finsh them 2 hours later after darting between sections in the kitchin to do other things and do orders start to prep things cut my hand open on a knife so off to get that banaged up burn my self on the Fcuking oven another bandage fall over on water on the floor and finaly 13 hours after i started i finshed work to find that the kegs are empty on foster kronie and carlsberg Fcuking wonderfull so no pint after work for me pint of pepsi instead!

oh and to top it off my cherrie out of my fag (the bit that burns for anyone that doesnt know) so yeah fell out landed on my trousers without me noticing burnt my trousers and my leg!

but on the upside i had a bacon sarni for breakfast followd by a cheese toastie then i have bacon and cheese chibatta (sp) for lunch ending in chillie for dinner :P

perks of working in a kitchin oh is that one spare *steal* run out of kitchin eat :)

any ways anyone can top that?

lol - welcome to the world of full time work mate!

it'll be like that every day once you finish your education.

best tip - try and put it off until your 23 like I did - then you only need to spend 47 years working. :D

Sometimes that's what life dishes you...... :thumb:

Least everything was over by the time you got home though, yes?

Not like anything truly "bad" has happened, is it. :thumb:

 You lightweight!

Sh1t happens! :)

what you mean finshed education! lol

ive finshed it

The moral of the story is: Don't smoke
Understand how u feel there flix im a chef aswell and tbh sumtimes i fink why the fcuk did i do it, dnt know wat its like round ur area but a chef gets Shite money round here compared to the majority of ova places. But i guess it all comes with the trade, they always warned me b4 i did it that its a very anti-social trade to go into!!
aye welcome to the real world :P

Ah! That would explain the flood of 'expletives deleted' washing around kitchens in TV fly-on-the-wall programmes.

Not a good day FLiX.

Penny :O

*note to self never work in kitchens*

:) lol

not to put a downer on things, but if they are truly the worst problems you are faced with at the moment, I'd love to swap lives with you.

try waking up every morning and realising you are never ever going to see the love of your life again because he died in a car crash at the ripe old age of just 23. Having it hit you 100 times a day that you'll never hear his voice again or see his smiling face in the mornings. Now that's pretty Shite and I reckon I topped yours.

But yes, working in a kitchen sucks, I'll give you that much. Wouldn't go back to that again for all the money in the world.

Once again, don't mean to be too miserable, but when stuff like this happens, it seems to put the rest of life's crap in perspective.

Exactly my point...... ;(

i thort my life was Shite with the medical problems ive had, yet im still alive and still living a good life, which is far more than some ppl :( and i truly hope every1 looks at their lives in the same perspective, yes jobs suck, relationships can suck but ur still alive and can move on at the end of the day.....biggest fkin reality check u can have imo
