well spent the day doing a few things with the car today....

 

firstly i t-cutted the scratches that some T*at put in it on thursday while i was at work

 

i then put some chrome strips on my front grill which look pretty good

 

i also put a graphic on the rear window of my car which is a similar style to the tattoo on vin diesels neck in xxx

 

i also de-badged it which makes the rear end look fairly decent with the graphic as well

 

tomorrow before i go canoeing (not rtts now cos i got no one to split petrol with ) im gunna start colour coding my dash and also tint my rear lights

 

will try and get some piccies up if i can get a cam from somewhere.

 

oh and i also had the wheels fully aligned and the cambers adjusted cos i had really bad tyre wear on the insides of the tyres.

I tried paintin my dash last weekend with silver plastikote.

 

it went very wrong.

Looks like you've been busy.

 

Have you checked the bottom arms on the car, as that's usually the main cause of tyre wear on the inside.

 

Get them bottom arms checked out, or the tyres will be worn through again soon

when you tried spraying your dash, did you use primer? if so, next time dont bother cos it makes it sticky and bubble and dont use lacquer either cos my mates completely messed up when he did it. just spray the paint on lightly and give it a few coats and it will be perfect

yeh that was my old dash and i only did it that colour because the colour of the car was wedgewood blue (kinda like baby blue but not so baby like) and the paint i used for the dash was electric monza blue.

 

the new one is going to be white and red with chrome accessories

 

already have the gearknob which i put on today and i also got myself some rainbow sidelights which attract a fair amount of attention from happy snappers with there phones

 

I thought I was on drugs when I seen this photo.

 

What was underneath that paint on the dash? Black plastic? or that shiny wooden effect stoof?
