Having a full on arguments with my m8's bout my engine. Is this a zetec or not its in my mk5b. The garage said it was

wrong its a zetec in need of a clean. lol.

seriously mate use some gung and u wont be dissappointed with the result. makes it come up like new although allow a couple of weeks for the smell to go. also muck off is very good.

like i said gunk will come up nice and supposedly 'protect' the engine but it really will stink. if u couldnt stand the smell for a couple of weeks, then use muck off bie chain degreaser. i happened to have a tin in my garage left over form my mtb days. it also comes in aerosols. hope this helps.

btw keeping ur engine clean will allow u to easily identify leaks. mines always leaking. lol.

zetecs are twin cam mate hence the 2 raised sections eitherside of the sparkplugs, cvh are single cam
