They're all crap. Cone filters, additives, power boost valves, etc etc.. it's all marketing blah and profit.. But they're affordable and give people something to talk about..

i was gonna get one of these as its supoosed to get rid of flat spots, so i gather it doesnt,

 

However if it is not performance enhancing why does every insurance compnay say tell em if you have one?

Thats not true, both i and another mate have power boost valves and HAVE noticed a difference with the drive of the cars because of these

Because if you have that kind of thing fitted to your car it makes you more likely to drive like a idiot and hence you are a higher risk. :innocent:

 

As for power boost valves and all that.... every decent opinion (IE: mechanic/ person in the 'know') as said they are complete shite!

 

Any 'gains' are probably all in the owners head & none of the people who own these companys/ design these products actually USE them on their OWN cars... lol

bot are correct an i agree, it helps the fuelin on mine till i get a chip sorted
