Redsquirrel
Took my Escort mk6 to the bodyshop today =) It should look great when its finished, not sure how long it will take, probably 1-2 weeks. Does anyone remember me saying they were charging to fit the evo 6 mk2 bonnet scoop for £350? Turns out it was the bonnet scoop and also flattening the boot. I think ill have to say no to the bad boy bonnet, cos the whole lot costs £1733, without bonnet/boot it was £1380, but I still want them done so I expect to pay about £1600 or so, without the bad boy bonnet. One last thing - they gave me a Fiesta for the courtesy car. I forgot to ask if it uses petrol or desil. Its a Fiesta 16v, R reg i think. Any ideas? Ill probably phone tommorrow. Redsquirrel
well at least Im expecting it to be 1-2 weeks. If it was gonna take months, Im sure they wouldnt have let me take their courtesy car for that amount of time cos other customers would need it. Anyway gonna go have a look at the progress on thursday =)

Waxmonkey
best way to tell if it's diesel is to fill it up with petrol. If it runs fine, It's a petrol. If the engine totally stops and buggers up completley, it's probably a diesel. or was a diesel.........
