danposs86 Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 Did anyone just hear the news on Radio1??? Petrol is said to go up a further few pence this week because of the hit on oil refineries in America!!! It is also a pound a litre in some remote parts of the uk! When will the government sort out their act!

danposs86 Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Tell me about it yesterday I saw a garage with 1.03p per litre!!! Sickening<{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1.03p a litre!!!! Where is this place
greeneyes25 Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 its about 2 miles out of montrose in jockland hehe
danposs86 Posted September 5, 2005 Author Posted September 5, 2005 Damn mother nature. Ohh, and the government!
Ex-Finesse Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 When will the government sort out their act! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>When the people do something about it. I'm amazed that the truckers haven't blockaded the refineries again?!?! Even at 90p a litre, a gallon of fuel is well over £4. I'd be surprised if any of them are making money
DJC Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 I hadn't heard anything about the price increase until I was walking the dog yesterday and noticed the local morrisons were charging 95.9 and I thought wtf. I have just queued for 25 mins at the sainsburys near my work to get petrol at 88.9 in the swealtering heat. All I can say is I'm glad I'm currently driving a 1.1 fez that uses sod all petrol.
dirrty_blonde Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 its 109p per L downt he rd from me i cant afford to fill my 1.1 fezzy up above the red!
foxdie Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 i dont under why people say that? its probably cost you an extra £4 to fill up a full tank (around 44litres in a fezza). alot over the long run. but i'll Pee that away in the fruit machines anyway, no big deal. Thats an extra £1 if you put in £10 at a time... whoop-te-do. no reason to stay at home a get depressed about motor ownership...
Muppje Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 In just over a year of motoring though, it's gone up about £15-20 to fill up my car. I remember it costing just over £20 to fill up my old Escort, now it costs near enough £40. Anyway, why do we see a new Petrol price thread every week?
