does anyone know why sometimes my car just suddenly drifts to the left and it does it everytime I change up gear?

Mine's good at torque steer, lol

oes it steer to the one way when you accelarate and back the other when you lift of>

 

if it does then its a ball joint in the suspension thats worn and its quite serious

Mine does this too Becky, does yours also wave about the road at high speed or bumps, might be the tracking or arms (wishbones)

Torque steer . . . . oh yes its all about the swerving down the road !!

 

Mine steers left on accel, and then right when off the power

 

Was thinking today when i took some bird out for a drive, she must think im the worst driver ever cause im always going from one lane to anuva

I's certainly not torque steer on an Escort unless you're packing decent power.

Yea I was told 2day that its 99% that its the ball joint!
